What is the Onyar Foundation?
Aliments Onyar is a company dedicated to the production and distribution of different types of organic and local food products, among which fresh pasta, pizzas, nuts, pâtés and sauces stand out.
The company, the result of an important social project of the Ramon Noguera Foundation Group, is an organization made up of non-profit social initiative entities whose purpose is the creation and management of services aimed at people with intellectual disabilities. intellectual and to children with disorders in their development in the region of Gironès.
The entities that make up the group are the Ramon Noguera Foundation, the Montilivi Foundation and the Mas Xirgu Foundation.
Ramon Noguera
Born in Girona in 1911, Ramon Noguera i Sabater was a renowned Girona businessman, very involved in the political life of the city, who dedicated a large part of his life to helping people with intellectual disabilities.
Ramon Noguera’s involvement in this issue was mainly the result of the birth of one of his daughters, who suffered from a significant intellectual disability. This fact led to the creation of what is currently known as the Angelus Psychic Pro-Disabled Association.
